67 Bird – User Data & Privacy Policy
1. Information We Collect
This app collects only limited, non-sensitive information:
- Player nickname – the name you enter when submitting a score to the leaderboard.
- Game score and difficulty level – your score for a specific run and which difficulty you played.
We do not collect:
- Real name (unless you type it as your nickname)
- Email address, phone number, account login, or password
- Contacts, photos, media, files, or other device content
- Precise location (GPS)
- Advertising ID or other tracking identifiers
2. How We Use Your Data
We use the collected data only for gameplay features inside the app:
- To display a public leaderboard showing the top scores (nickname + score + difficulty).
We do not use your data for:
- Advertising or ad personalization
- Cross-app or cross-site tracking
- Profiling, analytics, or remarketing outside the game
3. Data Storage & Security
- Leaderboard data (nickname, score, difficulty, timestamp) is stored in Google Firebase Realtime Database, hosted by Google.
- All communication with Firebase uses HTTPS encryption.
- Firebase security rules restrict what data can be written and read.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent any personal data.
The only "sharing" is:
- Your nickname and score can be seen by other players inside the app as part of the leaderboard.
We do not share data with third parties for advertising, analytics, or any unrelated purpose.
5. Permissions & APIs
The app:
- Does not request dangerous permissions (such as Contacts, SMS, Camera, Microphone, Location).
- Uses Firebase solely to store leaderboard entries (nickname, score, difficulty, timestamp).
No other SDKs are used to access sensitive user or device data.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
- Leaderboard entries are kept as long as the leaderboard feature is available, or until we reset or clear the leaderboard (e.g., for maintenance or updates).
- If you want your data removed (nickname and scores), you can email us at tomer@hevlin.org with your nickname. We will delete your leaderboard entries from Firebase within a reasonable time.
7. Children's Privacy
The game is a casual game and does not require an account or real identity.
Parents/guardians who believe that a child has submitted personal information (for example, a full real name as the nickname) can contact us at tomer@hevlin.org, and we will remove that data from the leaderboard.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy occasionally. Any changes will be reflected in:
- The app's listing on Google Play, and/or
- A new version of this policy linked from within the app or store listing.
